About Us

Von's Gardens is located in beautifful Northwest Arkansas. Our nursery started out as primarily a source of landscape material for my wife's landscape design business. While we were doing that we also started growing material for bonsai training. We have field grown a wide variety of species over the years. Over the past 10 years we have been vending trees and accent plants at conventions and bonsai shows across the country.

Our Efforts really changed in 2005 when John started studying bonsai with Boon Manakitivipart (Bonsai Boon) in California. He completed the three year Bonsai Intensive series with Boon in the Summer of 2008, Von has started studying with Boon as well and we work together to care for and work on material for bonsai. Our goal is to provide you with the best suited and healthiest material to meet your needs. We provide a number of services from tree and accent plant sales, tree and pot finding and will work with you to assist you in the development of your trees.
