Akio Kondo, Mr. Kamiya's first apprentice and long time friend of Boon was in the US for a few days in July and August this year. We thought it might be good for him to see some of the US other than just California. Akio came out and shared a good deal of bonsai knowledge, great sense of humor and pleasant disposition.
